Our Mission

Strengthening Fairs Across the Nation

The Maine Association of Agricultural Fairs (MAAF) is dedicated to representing and promoting the licensed Agricultural Fairs of the State of Maine through advocacy at the state and federal level, preservation of fair traditions, and the advancement of agricultural education. We provide support and resources to our member fairs, and foster collaboration to ensure their continued success and future growth.

About Us

About MAAF

Advocating for Fairs since 1912

Since 1912, the Maine Association of Agricultural Fairs has been the organizing force behind Maine's most cherished seasonal tradition. We represent the licensed agricultural fairs of the state by supporting fair organizers, preserving the traditions that bring communities together, and advocating for the agriculture at the heart of it all.

Maine's fairs are where families reconnect, where kids see their first livestock show, where harness racing fills the grandstands and the smell of fried dough fills the air. MAAF exists to make sure those moments keep happening season after season.
